Trivia:

1) First particle animation of fur.

2) Inspired by the Japanese tale "Kaguya-hime", this film enchances the tale's fire beast with iridescent fur. The fur renderer was an application of Digital Differencial Analyzer (DDA), which was developed by Ryoichiro.

3) First photorealistic CGI fur was in Flintstones (1994).
